Allergies
Some Siberian cats are hypo-allergenic, causing no or less severe allergic reactions in people with feline allergies. We are working with Lundberg Siberians to test some of our kittens' allergen levels. For an idea of what might work for your family, please reference the chart below. Individuals with severe feline allergies should seek medical advice before purchasing a kitten.

Some of our cats were tested with a fur test. The fur test is less stressful for cats than the saliva test, and anxiety can increase allergen level. The following chart is from Siberian Research, Inc.
Fur test ranges in Siberians: 5 mcg - 1300 mcg
Very low fur levels: 10 mcg - 50 mcg
Low fur allergen levels: 50 mcg - 100 mcg
Medium fur allergen level: 100 mcg - 200 mcg
High fur allergen levels: 200 mcg - 600 mcg
